My class's Waka Pictures!
In Term 3, my class were learning about the Mighty Mariners. As part of the learning experiences, the students were also able to draw pctures of canoes or waka (Canoe in Maori). Here are some of their beautiful work!
Hey! My name is Brittany Hamilton and I am a student at the University of South Alabama and was assinged to your blog in EDM310 which Dr.Strange teaches. I love the pictures of wakas. Your students are very talented. I found it very interesting that you taught on the Mighty Mariners. I have never learned about them or didn't even know it existed. I went and did some research to find out. I guess it is true that you can learn something everyday. Thank you for this post. It gave me a great idea to use this one day as a teacher!
